Brands De-Islamifying Ramadan

Discussing the trend of brands on social media detaching Allah & Islam from Ramadan—presenting it more as a cultural holiday & less as a religious obligation for Muslims. Should we be questioning the intention of brands wanting to work with Muslim creators for the Ramadan? While some non-Muslims choose to observe the month, does that necessarily make it a non-religious concept?
