The two worlds of new classical music and indie rock rarely collide and yet why? Both push the boundaries of sound, form and instrumentation. One extraordinary night at the Thornbury Theatre will see seemingly opposite musical worlds collide. In this episode of Kiss My Arts, we chat with founder and artistic director of the Arcko Symphonic Ensemble, Timothy Phillips; and multi-instrumentalist and founder of Glasfrosch, who are joining forces for this spectacular concert.

Songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer Daniel Bastow joins us on the show to talk about how he creates and produces all of his own music, right from his home studio. Everything you hear in the music is Daniel…he writes, performs, records and engineers! His music is raw, real and full of emotion, with everything from acoustic guitar and cello tracks to 30-piece rock songs.
