Stop Making Sense

In 1984, indie filmmaker Jonathan Demme got the cooperation of 80s cult rock band Talking Heads to film their live show at the Pantages Theater. The result is Stop Making Sense, a concert film that elevated the status of both the band and the director though credited ingenuity of presentation, music and aesthetics.
