Not Following - Danny has always been someone who has looked for the truth in everything. He explains that there is a very thin line between the “yes” that comes from source and the “yes” that comes from self. There was a very difficult time many years ago with his wife, when they had their daughter who was developmentally delayed. It was a very difficult thing to process.

Not Following - Tara talks about a recent experience that was during a business process. Tara had a small research firm where she had a group of psychologists, and they were getting these great government grants. It was to help promote emotional intelligence in kids. She started to burnout after a while because it’s very difficult applying for these grants and being accepted. She knew she was burning herself out being the CEO, CFO, COO, and research scientist. She felt obligated.

Following - This was when Tara decided to write her book, The Kindness Cure. It was after a traumatic experience where her daughter was beat up and she was asking for kindness. During this time, Tara was feeling very upset and exhausted from the world. She started to see others succeed and it was all about cutting through the fears and stepping into your vulnerability. After that she woke up one morning and knew she was writing a book on kindness.
