So, last week I was invited by Dr. Baz Dreisinger to the launch of the Incarceration Nation Networks event at the Nelson Mandela foundation here in Johannesburg and I was simply blown away by the incredible stories and impactful work that Baz and organisations around the world are doing to re-invent the role of incarcerated men and women in our society. South Africa is one of the most violent societies to live in anywhere in the world, which makes this a very special episode because today, I am privileged to share with you the transformational work which can be found at the intersection of race, crime, culture and justice
