Aspirational Politics

October 15, 2024Many things about our political system are broken, but what is perhaps most broken is this: We seem to have lost our ability to aspire to greatness, and to inspire others to do the same. Our politics is consumed by short-term revenge thinking, and this is why we so rarely do big and bold things anymore. Can we return to a more aspirational form of politics in America?
