Christianity was firmly rooted in Egypt by the second century. Now, the Coptic Christian of Egypt, as well as others, suffer persecution at the hands of the predominately Muslim population, and human trafficking is used to abduct Christian women and girls for conversion to Islam and marriage to Muslim men.
