In chapter 5 of Mark, Jesus shows us how much He values people on a personal level. He traveled all night by boat through a storm… all to reach one man who was suffering with demon possession and living in a graveyard. The demon-possessed man’s story has been told throughout history and for the most part, he is known by his demons. However, it’s important to remember that his story does not end with shackles, but with liberation. When Jesus left that day, the life of this man was fully restored and he was praising God! In this beautiful account of redemption, we have a man who was bound in every way — and a Savior who journeyed far to set him free. Our Savior will do the same for you every time you need Him.
