A Conversation About Prayer (Feat. Byron)

Hey there, lovely friend! Today's episode is not your average lesson on prayer. This truly is a conversation with a prayer warrior friend of mine who means a lot to me. I have known Byron for a bunch of years and he has shown me such great support through his prayers - not just through the tough times, but we have thanked God together in prayer as well! Byron can be shy, like most of us are when trying something new (he has never podcasted before), but he is bold and passionate when it comes to prayer! Prayer has had a significant impact in my life, and in the lives of my friends. I have never known anyone who has said a prayer and regretted it. Your prayers always do something. Your prayers never, not ever, do nothing. Today, my friend Byron and I are giving God all the glory as we talk about all of the "something's" the Lord has done with our prayers. Some of these will blow your mind - they certainly blew ours! You can't limit prayer, nor its power. Prayer helps. Prayer equips. Prayer encourages. Prayer illuminates. Prayer clarifies. Prayer directs. Prayer emboldens. Lean into prayer and trust God. The only way you can do anything is with Him. God's will for all of us is to pray without ceasing. (See 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) This means we should be both consistent and persistent in prayer. The Lord wants to hear from you. He has assigned value and authority to your prayers. God wants to see the look on your face when, after asking Him for help, you watch Him move Heaven and Earth on your behalf! Thank you for letting me be a part of your day!
