Healing Parent Wounds Part 2

In this second part of Healing Parent Wounds, we are looking up from the wounds and focusing on the Healer of them. Lovely friend, if I could personally tell you a million times how much God loves you, I would. I think sometimes we need to hear it over and over again before it really sinks in. God really does love you, and His love really can make you whole. Your broken past does not have to lead to a broken future. I am living proof of this. God swoops into our circumstances, and because He does we can confidently say: “I am a child of God. I am not doomed to repeat my parents mistakes.” “God sees my life and He won’t abandon me.” “I am meant to have joy. So, I can look forward to a bright future and not live in dread of more pain.” There is a care-free quality children have when they know their parents love them. Lovely listener, this is what your Heavenly Father wants for you. When you give God your trust, He won’t break it. He is not just a father, He is a Good Father. You don’t have to worry about a thing.
