Gabrielle Lord has written 16 books as well as a 12-volume thriller series for young adults. She started writing seriously at the age of 30. She says that her first two manuscripts ending up as compost but her third, Fortress, was picked up interationally and made into a feature film starring Rachel Ward. Her fifth novel Whipping Boy was made into a telemovie starring Sigrid Thornton. Her latest book is Dishonour. In this interview, I chat to Gabrielle after she wrote Shattered, the fourth book in her popular Gemma Lincoln series,preceded by Spiking the Girl, Baby Did a Bad Thing and Feeding the Demons.
