This house journey begins with a dark and dirty pounding. 31 tracks ranging from classic house anthems to some incredible new indie-dance releases are mixed with intent and care, leading to a raise-your-hands spirit and vibe. The final track, Psychedelic Research Lab's - Tarenah, has been traveling in my crate for nearly 30 years. I'd like to thank Scott Richmond for producing such a great track and for being one of the first DJs to inspire me. The tracks found in this mix were purchased at local independent records stores, including Satellite Records, Eight Ball Records, Uncle Ted's, Neptune Records, and Yolanda's. Four out of these five record stores are now defunct, because of the 'streaming music machine's' inequitable distribution of revenue on a pay-per-listen basis to no-name acts..
