Black History Month: Tribute to less than 60 years of Freedom

Send a textIn 1619, the first cargo ship of slaves landed in the United States.  For 244 years, slavery was the most inhumane system in the world. It was the only (and still is the only) de-humanizing system in the world. In 1863, After 244 years of slavery, there was 101 years of segregation and Jim Crow. This lasted for 101 years. In 1964, these laws were abolished. Here we are in 2022. 58 Years we have been free.  Listen with us today as we reflect. Support the show
