An altar can be a personal representation of what is important to you, it need not be religious. It is a place that can highlight and heighten your connection between heaven and earth. It can be source of a greater connection between you and the creator and be a remembrance of your ancestors. It can assist in creating peace in the home and help sacred energy spread throughout.
