VA 10, Ep. 4 “Nothing About Us Without Us”; Those Eyes we Ignore Are the Resistance

A venue on fire, flooded conference spaces, the voices of the people defending the science of what humanity, as a collective, has to do to avoid catastrophe, ignored; yet the presence of the protesters was loud, colorful and purposeful, even babies were there to rebel against a system that values commodities and profit over human life. Here's a mosaic I have created with the articles that I selected as a summary of what the Conference of the Parties #30 offered us all. Offering no new plans to cut fossil fuels, the UN’s climate conference failed to produce a roadmap to stop global warming. We hear about many protesters and Victorias Amazonicas fighting for us all, insisting like their indigenous fellow protesters: NOTHING ABOUT, US WITHOUT US! Children, Enfants, Kinder features 90 children; they mirror eyes of the past, the present, the future; the most innocent among us who will in fact, suffer the most if we continue to fail to act to confront the climate emergency.
