Description
Author Graham Sclater stepped into the Interrogation Room to clear up some things about his BOOKS OF THE MONTH. In this episode, he discusses Ian Rankin's IN A HOUSE OF LIES and Lee Child's PAST TENSE.
Graham studied creative writing for film and television at the Phoenix Arts Centre in Exeter, England, and his work has been optioned for television series by companies such as the BBC. He worked as a musician across Europe, and as a session player in many of the top London studios. Graham has performed with celebrated artists including Jimi Hendrix, Fats Domino, James Taylor, and Elton John, and started Tabitha Records in 1976. His background in music formed the basis of his first novel, “Ticket to Ride,” which he set in 1960’s Hamburg and published in 2006. He’s since written and had published a children’s book, historical fiction, four additional novels, and a nonfiction guide for writers.
Graham is heard regularly on terrestrial and web-based radio stations around the world reviewing his Book of the Month and presenting the A-Z of writing on Live Wire Talk and “Hits & Bits” where he tells the story behind the “hit” record.
